Pastor's daughter Jess is the de facto leader of the young singles at her church. She loves setting up mission trips and service projects with this group of friends—especially her roommate Rachel and bachelor Alex, who's always had a crush on her. But as couples start to pair off, Jess finds herself losing friends. A whirlwind summer of weddings culminates with Rachel getting engaged to the dashing Samuel Summers, and Jess and Alex find themselves the last single people left at their church.
